Abstract: Online submission guide

General instructions

  1. The submission of the abstract becomes possible after the registration of the author/ author-presenter on the Congress website. This user's account created at registration will be accessed, later, for the abstract submission.
  2. The abstract will be submitted EXCLUSIVELY online via the electronic system. Abstracts sent by e-mail, presented on paper or other electronic devices will not be examined. The online form is configured in such a way that it does not accept abstracts that do not meet the established technical conditions. First of all, you need to make sure that the abstract does correspond to all the requirements. It is recommended to draft your abstract in a Word document so that you can use the Word Count function to fit the number of characters assigned.
  3. The abstracts can be submitted and edited, if necessary, only before the deadline. Editing is possible by accessing the EDIT ABRSTRACT button. The deadline terms will not be extended. To checkup the deadline, we recommend to press the Website section. After the deadline, the system will be inactivated and no more abstracts will be accepted.
  4. By submitting the abstract, the author agrees and also confirms that:
    • assumes responsibility for the presented information;
    • has not previously published the summary in any other publication;
    • the presented results are original, the presented data – is reliable, represent the personal or team work and do not contain ghost authors;
    • all authors of the submitted work know and agree with the abstract content.
  5. The submitted abstracts will be verified by the electronic system of Academic Integrity (anti-plagiarism).
  6. The authors take ALL RESPONSIBILITY for grammatical, stylistic and mechanical errors in the abstract. No additional editing of the abstracts will be executed.
  7. The abstracts with two or more co-authors will be submitted by the author-presenter only once (the other authors will not submit the same abstract).
  8. During the submission step, the author/presenting author will chose one of two options:
    • To publish the abstract in Abstarct Collection Book or
    • To publish the abstract in Abstarct Collection Book and the respective extended article in one of the national journals.
  9. The submitted abstracts will be examined by the Scientific Committee, which will decide whether or not to accept them. The basic evaluation criteria are the following:
    • The accordance of the purpose with the title;
    • The accordance of the goal with the obtained results;
    • Analysis of research results according to the type of study;
    • Summary of the most important research results;
    • Importance of results in the clinical context and/or health policies.
  10. After the reviewers evaluation, if the abstract is accepted, the author/ presenting author will receive a notification by e-mail  with the proposal to present it as a short communication in one of the Congress sessions or as an ePoster (see the conditions for the Electronic Poster). The accepted abstracts will be published in a special electronic version edition of Abstact Collection Book.
