Prof. Frank Lee-Bowling successfully graduated with a clinical doctorate in in Podiatry, and later he undertook a Master of Science degree in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery. He later carried on his academic career pathway and completed a Philosophy Doctorate in the Faculty of Medicine.
Since graduation, he has authored and co-authored in a range of medical journals; including twelve book chapters and two books in Pharmacology, Disease Management, Diabetic Neuropathy, Biomechanics, Pathomechanics and Charcot Foot (H-index on Semantic scholar – 18).
More recently he was awarded “Top Clinical Abstract Award” at the Symposium of Advanced Wound Care, ”National Institute for Health and Research Clinical Leadership Award”, ”Bioknow medical innervations Award” and also the ”Trusts Chairman’s Research Prize” Scholarship.
Since 2020, he has been given an extremely eminent position as a Professor that is linked to the Academic Health Science Centre – this is collaboration between the National Institute for Health and Research, that covers the topics for cancer, cardiovascular, inflammation and repair, endocrinology, mental health, population health and implementation, and women and children.
Over the years, Prof. Frank Lee-Bowling has made multiple visits to Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (SUMPh), offering his full support, advice and confidence in the continuous development of our teachers, which is why on May 9, 2018, he was awarded the honorary title of Visiting Professor of Nicolae Testemitanu SUMPh.
